BlackRock expands AI ETF range in double launch

Capturing infrastructure, adopters and applications sub themes

BlackRock has expanded its range of thematic ETFs with the launch of two artificial intelligence (AI) strategies.

The iShares AI Infrastructure UCITS ETF (AINF) and the iShares AI Adopters & Applications UCITS ETF (AIAA) are listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Paris and Deutsche Borse with total expense ratios (TERs) of 0.35%.

AINF tracks the STOXX Global AI Infrastructure Net index which offers exposure to companies playing central role in the development and evolution of the building block components for artificial intelligence, such as semiconductors, cloud computing and big data technologies.

It’s top three weightings are Nvidia (5.4%), Cisco (5.3%) and TSMC (5.3%).

Meanwhile, AIAA tracks the STOXX Global AI Adopters and Applications Net index which offers exposure to companies benefiting from the advancement of AI.

Its top three holdings are Meituan (2.7%), Morgan Stanley (2.1%) and Palantir Technologies (2.1%).

BlackRock recently entered Europe’s active fixed income ETF market with a euro cash strategy.

Shortly before, BlackRock launched S&P 500 top 20 ETF capturing the top 20 companies from the popular index.
